Hey!

I know it's been a long time but I'm back! I was moved into the bullpen since my last post and the transition has gone well. Just happy to be contributing in any way I can. I hope to post much more frequently in the future and would just like to thank everyone out there for the continued support. Also, let me know what things you liked/disliked about the blog before.   Hey Phil! GOtta tell you your my favorite player to pitch with in MLB 2k9 and my favorite player on the Yankees. You have the Nastiest Knuckle Curve in the game and your fastball hits 96, blazing, nice cutter to finish it off haha. You're doing great Phil in the bullpen, since before the season I had stated many times you deserved to be in the starting rotation and you do. Bout time you came back to blog ironic thing is I haven't been on here in 2 months and the one day I came to check to see if you posted something new you did haha. Keep up the good work, Future ace. O spread the word your new nickname is ILL HUGHES! Greatest nickname of all time.

  Phil,
  You have been totally dominating in the bullpen so far. But what makes you really stand out is your humility and maturity and very positive attitude about what you do. So refreshing to see a professional athlete who is so totally down to earth and more concerned about the welfare of his team than his own image.....I've been a Yankee fan since before you were born, and when I watch you pitch, I am reminded of Mo in his early days with the Yankees...No doubt in my mind you are destined for greatness...Keep up the great pitching and I'm looking forward to seeing you pitch in the post season!

  it's soo great to hear from you. this year is DEFINITELY an awesome year for you! 2009 is a really awesome year for the yankees and it's so good to see that you're doing well and excelling in the bullpen. that's what everyone's talking about - and it's good because you deserve it all. it's all cool that you can't post blogs during the year. perfectly understandable. transitioning from a starter to a reliever is a HUGE commitment. you can do it! out of all players, you're the one that has the mindset to do it.

    Wow u happened to be born in the middle of jeters and phil's bday you must be so lucky that must make ur vag wet at night thinking about it while u stare at ur picture that you ran around in circles like a retard. How old are you 7? Do u lay awake at night dreaming of this guy even though he has never once responded to the 50,000 posts that u have and you know why? Cause your a psycho. Phil doesn't care if you have a birthday close 2 him. He probably reads your posts and laughs at how crazy some of u people are on this site.

  If you do post some pics, I'd love to see one of the painting that Tomko made for you. There was an article about it with pics & video a few weeks ago, so we saw it when it was still in progress...and it looked amazing then. It would be cool to see now that it's complete.

  It is so wonderful to finally have consistency in the bullpen. You are making an ENORMOUS contribution --- as big, or bigger, than if you were a starter. I think life would be pretty good for you...and us (the fans!) if you became the 7th/8th inning setup guy, and, one day, perhaps move into Mo's role. It's a pleasure watching you come out of the pen & hearing the cheers for you get louder & louder with every passing day!

  Great to have you back!! It sucks that you can't upload your music to your blog anymore or that you don't get to have a profile with your favorite TV shows, movies, music, etc. like the subscribers to the site .... I thought that made things cooler. C'est la vie!! BTW, love the new stadium and you couldn't pay me to miss a game!! Far too superstitious here to comment about the way the season's going, but *fingers crossed*.......

  Everyone else is saying it, but keep up the amazing bullpen work, Phil. You've been one of my favorite Yankees since I started watching prospects 4 years ago and I seriously have been waiting for you to dominate like this for a long time. It's really fun to watch.
