Phil, I really look forward to next year, I really think you can help us get back to the playoffs
What's it like fulfilling your dream of playing in the MLB? I mean it was not long ago you were just a kid thinking about it...crazy

By the way, I saw that you're taking the quiz about naming all of the MLB Teams in 60 seconds. I tried it and got 25/25 the first time =] You're getting a lot better, though .. keep trying! I have faith in you! LOL

Did you ever shop at Greene Records? It was right down the street from Foothill. Alex from Atreyu worked there as well as Dustin from Thrice.

Hi!
I'm a lifelong Yankee fan and a huge baseball fan in general. This is why I'm doing my psychology honors thesis on quantifying clutch performance in baseball. Although I am only rating hitters at the moment, if I can validate this scale I hope to move onto adding more teams and also doing some pitching statistics. It would be a huge help if anyone could take my survey! Also, if anyone has feedback about it, I'd love to hear it! Here's some background info:
What is "clutch"? What players are considered "clutch" performers? What players are "gritty" or have natural talent? Are these players also "clutch"? These frequently cited terms in the game of baseball have never been objectively studied, but I am trying to change that. I'm a University of Pennsylvania psychology student who is doing an honors thesis about clutch performance in baseball. I have created a survey asking about some Major League players' characteristics and it would be great if some of you, being huge baseball fans, could fill it out! It should only take a maximum of 10 minutes. Also, I would love to hear any comments that you have about my survey! Thanks so much for all your help!
Here is the website for my survey: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=VUWValhJzb65tk1lZoMMEQ_3d_3d

Have you been too busy being a California emo-loving sissy to concentrate on pitching?
I'm going to buy you an Atreyu T-shirt for Christmas.

Whats your feeling on doing long relief? it just seems like the yanks are going after alot of pitchers this offseason, and that might push you to a number 5 or spot starter? would you pitch out of the pen to get innings in?
