Phil Hughes Contest #1

Ok everyone. Contest #1 starts today and will run until next Thursday, Jan. 22nd at 8:30 pm pacific time. All contest entries must be emailed to Phil_Hughes_Contest@yardbarker.com

All valid emails will be accepted. The winner will be notified through the email used for their entry. DO NOT submit answers as a comment on this post. They will not be counted. The question for the contest is a three answer question. If more than one person gets all three correct then the winner will be chosen randomly. If no one answers all three correctly then the winner will be chosen randomly from those than answered 2 of 3, or 1 of 3 correctly.

Please read all the instructions carefully before entering.

And the questions are.....

What number did I wear in high school?
What size glove do I CURRENTLY wear?
What size hat do I wear?

I say number #35 in High School, Glove size 11 1/2 , Cap size 7 7/8 ths (I think you always say you have a big head). These are purely guesses ...as I have no clue.
Good luck in the upcoming season...Phil. Nice rotation to be part of this year with a new Stadium and new slugger. I can't wait for the season to start.

      haha...actually, when he pitched for trenton, he wore the mascot's hat a few times when he was joking around in the clubhouse ;-)

  Haha, I spent at least an hour googling these things. Wikipedia, a bunch of baseball sites, your old high school website...Didn't work too well.
  It was a good contest, but something that isn't just everyone guessing would be cool too.

  It's not easy at all. I spent a while looking for answers.. even resorted to youtube (no luck though). I had to take guesses haha. It's awesome that you even do this though - we appreciate it so much!

I know I got the glove one right and I'm pretty sure on the high school number, but the hat size one is difficult. I had to guess that one. You have to really do research if you want to get the answers right. Maybe next time Phil we can get some office or music trivia.

I like these type of questions because the answers are hard to find on the internet (if even possible). I love The Office trivia questions but so many people always get those right. Thanks for doing the contest Phil.

Hey Phil....I was just at Legends (Steinbrenner) Field for that fantsy v. yankee greats game. I got Mickey Rivers and Chris Chambliss's autographs. I'm going to a few of the spring training games & I really hope to get your autograph. I didn't have luck last year but, maybe this time I'll get it. Good Luck this season!
