The Bruins ended up capitalizing on the ensuing power play with a goal from Matt Grzelcyk to make it 4-1.
Rask finished the game after taking the hit from Mantha and stopped 19 of the 20 shots he faced. The only goal he allowed was off a weird deflection in front of the net.
Boston took a 3-1 series lead and has the opportunity to win the series on Sunday in Washington in Game 5.
