Amidst a 12-game losing streak, the Arizona Coyotes have been dealt with a huge blow to their lineup.
In the middle of the second period against the Winnipeg Jets, ‘Yotes forward Clayton Keller stayed on the bench but did not play another shift before ultimately leaving towards the locker room.
According to the Coyotes’ Public Relations account on X (formerly Twitter), they released an update prior to the third period.

When asked postgame about his status, Coyotes head coach André Tourigny did not provide an update.
Before he suffered the injury, Keller had 8:16 of time-on-ice versus the Jets.
As for the remainder of the contest, Kyle Connor would score the game-winner for the Jets as they won 4-3 in overtime.
During this season as a whole, Keller leads Arizona with 22 goals, 30 assists and 52 points in 57 games.
After the game, there was no further information on a presumed timetable from the club of how long Keller’s injury will keep him out for.
If Keller is out for an extended period of time, the ‘Yotes will have find a way to snap out of their lengthy slump without their best player.
